Our aim is to
bring people to Jesus, train them for spiritual growth, equip each one
for ministry, and send them out to bring others to Jesus.
of the Georgetown congregation is to bring people to Jesus through
membership in His family [Ephesians 2:19-20], develop them into mature
Christians [Hebrews 5:14], and equip them for their ministry in
the church and in the world to magnify God's holy name [Psalm 33:21]. The
Georgetown family encourages every member to fulfill their mission
to seek and save the lost [Matthew 28:19-20] while ministering to
one another out of a deep commitment of love to God and each other
[I John 4:19-21]
Missions That We Support
The Bible Can Change a Nation. For Good.
Nearly fifty years ago, America banned prayer and public reading of the Bible in public schools. That action exactly paralleled the practice of the schools of the former Soviet Union. Today, however, it is a far different story. It is the former communist nations of Russia and Ukraine that are asking for the Bible in public schools. The Bible is welcome and students are openly studying it in their pnblic schools. Fifty years ago, no one could have predicted that EEM would be providing Bibles and Biblical material to public schools in these nations.
It is this kind of work that drives us in our mission and why we say, "The Bible. We Want Everyone To Get It." As we celebrate EEM's fifty years, we want to give thanks for the work God has given us. Join us as the journey continues.
EEMN is currently serving in Albania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Russia, Slovakia, and Ukraine.
